Adopt Me!

I am Dior

Hi, I’m Dior - a super smart and very athletic (if I must say so myself) who loves to learn and play, and I’m looking for the right family.  Please read more about me below and why I need a new home🐾

Anchor 1

Hi — I’m Dior 🐾

Born: January 23, 2025
Breed mix: American Staffordshire Terrier, German Shepherd, American Pitbull Terrier, Boxer, and Dalmatian

Meet Me — Dior 💛

I’m a young, athletic, super-smart girl with a big personality and lots of energy, but I can also be a couch potato.  I love to move, learn, and be part of what’s going on. If you like an active, engaged dog who wants to work with you and figure things out, we’ll get along great.

My people say I’m extremely intelligent and very trainable. I learn fast — sometimes really fast. I picked up “sit, stay, break” in under a minute, and I do best when expectations are clear and consistent.

I get excited about food (okay… very excited 😄), but I’ve had professional training and now I understand mealtime rules. I wait for my release before going to my bowl and I respect boundaries around other animals during feeding time and don't go near my sisters' bowls when they are eating. Structure helps me succeed, and I respond really well to it.

My Personality

  • Very smart and eager to learn

  • Athletic and playful

  • Confident and engaged

  • Thrive with structure and activity

I would be amazing at things like agility, advanced obedience, or other dog sports.  And I'd be a super good partner if you like to trail run or walk!

My Cat Friend 🐱

I live with a three-legged Bengal cat, and I adore him. I’ve learned how to interact appropriately and I’m aware and respectful with him.

Why I’m Looking for a New Home

My family loves me very much and wants the best possible future for me. They already had two adult dogs when I joined the household as a puppy. I usually get along with them, but when excitement gets very high, I can become over-aroused and I’ve gotten into fights with one of them. It’s not about wanting to hurt anyone — it’s about intensity and overstimulation — but it’s still serious and something I don't want to minimize.

Because of this, I’ll likely do best:

  • As the only dog in the home, or

  • With an experienced owner who understands high-drive, confident dogs

  • With someone who will provide clear leadership and structure

I enjoy other animals, but a busy multi-dog home without strong management isn’t the right match for me.

My Ideal Home 🏡

I’m looking for someone who will:

  • Give me regular exercise and mental challenges

  • Provide consistency and clear rules

  • Understand confident, high-energy dogs

  • Help me channel my drive in positive ways

I am going to miss my dog and cat family, but know I need a new home.  If you think I would be a good fit for your family - I could be your girl.

My family cares deeply about me and wants to make sure I land in the right place — somewhere I can thrive, keep learning, and be set up for long-term success. 🐾
